Senior Front-end Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee frontend architecture, determining the methods for building, testing, and deploying features.

• Make critical technical choices concerning performance, rendering strategies, and API integration.

• Develop reusable patterns for components, state management, forms, and authentication processes.

• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure their reliability and security.

• Provide mentorship to engineers and perform code reviews.

• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with backend, security, DevOps, QA, and product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in front-end engineering.

• Extensive production experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, including knowledge of rendering strategies (SSR, SSG) and routing.

• Strong understanding of REST API integration, server-state management, and optimization of frontend performance.

• Experience in defining testing strategies and assessing test quality.

• Familiarity with authentication protocols (JWT, Azure) and secure development methodologies.

• Practical experience with cloud monitoring solutions (Azure, AWS).

• Capability to lead technical discussions and mentor fellow engineers.

• Proficiency in English.

• Nice to Have:

• Experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated industries.

• Knowledge of enterprise design systems, accessibility, or OWASP security principles.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, micro-frontends, or compliance standards in financial systems.

• Proficiency in Portuguese.
