Senior Fraud Prevention Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Structure and prioritize the management of fraud alerts by defining screening criteria, response SLAs, and escalation flows.

• Contribute to the anti-fraud strategy for RecargaPay products, including Pix, digital wallet, credit, and top-ups.

• Assess risks associated with new functionalities from the discovery phase onward.

• Develop and enhance analytical models and detection rules using Python and SQL on Databricks.

• Measure the performance of models and their impact on fraud-related KPIs.

• Create and maintain dashboards in Tableau to monitor fraud rates, false positives, chargebacks, and resolution times.

• Conduct in-depth investigations of significant fraud cases.

• Document standards and provide feedback on detection rules.

• Serve as a technical liaison with Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams.

• Translate risk requirements into viable solutions.

• Propose continuous improvements to anti-fraud processes and tools based on benchmarks and the evolution of attack vectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate education preferred.

• Over 4 years of experience in Fraud Prevention.

• Established experience in fraud prevention within fintechs, digital banks, or payment methods.

• Proficient in SQL for complex analytical queries.

• Proficient in Python for data analysis.

• Ability to build and interpret dashboards in Tableau or similar tools, such as Power BI or Looker.

• Proven track record of strategic involvement, including process design and recommendations with measurable impact.

• Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to manage projects autonomously without close supervision.

• Knowledge of Brazilian regulations related to fraud and payment methods, including BACEN and LGPD, is a bonus.

• Familiarity with anti-fraud rule/ML tools, such as Feedzai, Sardine, or Noto, is a bonus.
