Senior FP&A Systems Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Comprehend ERP transaction flows and financial semantics.

• Develop dimensional reporting frameworks across the chart of accounts and management reporting hierarchies.

• Ensure the accuracy of reports and the integrity of reconciliations.

• Convert operational transactions into dependable financial reporting outputs.

• Collaborate with ERP systems and external data sources.

• Create and troubleshoot integrations and APIs.

• Map incoming financial and operational data feeds.

• Assist in building scalable reporting architectures oriented towards warehouses.

• Formulate strategies for data movement, transformation, and synchronization.

• Write advanced SQL for reporting and analysis against financial data sources.

• Identify reporting bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the warehouse.

• Develop scalable reporting frameworks and reusable query logic.

• Apply data warehouse principles to financial reporting challenges.

• Lead technical discussions with clients regarding reporting requirements and data issues.

• Transform financial challenges into scalable technical architectures.

• Clearly communicate trade-offs and alternative solution strategies.

• Independently manage client assignments from requirement gathering to delivery.

• Coordinate efforts with implementation partners and internal teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in English; all written communication and client interactions will be conducted in English.

• 6–10 years of experience in FP&A, ERP implementation, financial systems consulting, or a mix of these areas.

• In-depth knowledge of ERP transaction flows, GL structures, subledgers, dimensions, and financial reporting hierarchies.

• Practical experience with mid-market ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, Business Central, Oracle EBS, or SAP HANA.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel; including Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, and experience in creating reports used by large groups of end-users.

• Strong SQL skills; ability to reverse-engineer queries, trace data back to source systems, optimize for performance, and identify reporting issues.

• Proven experience in developing financial reports from start to finish, covering scoping, layout, validation, and reconciliation.

• Capability to work independently without strict specifications; a consulting or implementation background is highly desirable.

• Development skills adequate for working with stored procedures, debugging data pipelines, and navigating development environments (expert-level coding is not required).

• Experience in marketing to or collaborating with finance leaders and accounting teams is preferable.

• A background in financial software, reporting tools, or BI platforms is a plus.
