Senior FP&A Controller – all genders

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will manage the cost aspect of the P&L, encompassing OPEX, personnel expenses, and fixed-cost developments, while making cost drivers visible and manageable.

• You will prepare budgets, forecasts, and plan-vs-actual comparisons, deriving actionable recommendations.

• You will take ownership of the forecasting and budgeting process, coordinating with business units and leading to final consolidation.

• You will create management reports that are clear, comprehensible, and relevant for decision-making.

• You will actively promote a faster close process, ensuring that figures are available in a timely manner.

• You will establish and maintain our cost-center structure — clean, scalable, and poised for growth.

• You will enhance our BI tools and dashboards, ensuring transparent and current cost metrics.

• You will actively participate in the advancement of our controlling processes and contribute to our finance project roadmap.

• You will serve as the main contact for department heads regarding cost matters, translating numbers into clear, actionable insights.

• You will collaborate closely with Accounting, HR, and Operations, acting as a liaison between operational business and Finance.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a (Master’s) degree in Business Administration, specializing in Finance, Controlling, or a related discipline.

• You have several years of experience in Controlling or FP&A, preferably in a high-growth or e-commerce setting.

• You have a solid understanding of P&L, cost structures, budgeting, and forecasting.

• MUST-have: You are skilled in Excel for structured data preparation.

• You have experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.

• You communicate in German at a C1 level and in English at a minimum of B2 level.
