This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Take charge of the complete orchestration of budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term plans, ensuring alignment between departmental objectives and company strategy.
• Create, develop, and sustain automated dashboards and KPIs that act as the "single source of truth" for organizational performance.
• Construct sophisticated, scalable models to assess new business opportunities, pricing strategies, and "what-if" scenarios to minimize risks associated with strategic shifts.
• Formulate and uphold financial models to predict future financial outcomes and assess various scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with the COO and department leaders to convert intricate financial data into actionable insights that drive growth and return on investment.
• Proactively pinpoint financial risks and structural deficiencies, developing frameworks to monitor and reduce exposure in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Aid in strategic decision-making by providing management with financial data and analyses.
• Engage in special financial projects and analyses as requested by management.
• Collaborate with the Accounting team during month-end close to analyze variances, ensuring high data integrity and a thorough understanding of actual versus planned performance.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Over 4 years of pertinent experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a high-growth or "scale-up" setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent expertise in financial modeling, Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with financial software and tools.
• Good communication abilities to present financial information clearly.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Scale-up mentality, prepared to deliver quickly and iterate even faster.
• Competent in handling large data sets.
• Advanced experience in financial modeling, including 3-statement modeling and scenario analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of SaaS-specific metrics (ARR, Net Retention, CAC Payback, LTV) and revenue recognition principles.
• Proficient in SQL.
