Senior Forward Deployed Engineer – AI Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, implement, and enhance AI agents utilizing Cresta’s AI platform and tools.

• Create integrations for AI agents with external systems (such as APIs, databases, CRMs, etc.) to facilitate smooth workflow integration.

• Improve AI agent performance (e.g., fine-tuning prompts and configurations) and address issues in intricate enterprise environments.

• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to collect technical requirements and convert business needs into AI Agent solutions.

• Conduct engaging demonstrations and present persuasive proof-of-concepts to potential customers, actively solicit feedback, and iteratively enhance solutions to achieve objectives.

• Establish project milestones, formulate implementation plans, and coordinate execution with internal teams to guarantee timely delivery.

• Work alongside PMs to define agent objectives, rapidly iterate based on customer input, and shape product features that enhance customer ROI.

• Act as a reliable technical advisor for the customer, guiding them on best practices for AI agent adoption and utilization. Provide technical counsel on AI agent best practices, including architecture design, security aspects, and scalability strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of full-time experience in software development/consulting, AI/ML engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering.

• Proficient in Python and Golang, capable of writing clean and efficient code.

• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts is essential. Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering techniques is highly preferred.

• Strong comprehension of general AI agent frameworks, function calling, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Practical experience in building such systems is strongly preferred.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, monitoring).

• Practical experience in system integration via APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines.

• Exceptional communication and project management abilities.

• Capacity to employ data-driven decision-making, including A/B testing and performance monitoring, to refine solutions.

• You excel in cross-functional settings, collaborating closely with PMs and engineers to transform real customer challenges into scalable AI solutions.
