Senior Flutter Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Lead the development of business features from the technical hand-off to a successful production launch;

• Analyze specifications, create solution designs, and advocate for them to the Architect prior to coding;

• Provide accurate estimates and consistently meet your deadlines;

• Test your code, assist QA during the stabilization phase, resolve bugs, and perform product demonstrations;

• Oversee product architecture and manage technical debt while implementing new features;

• Conduct comprehensive code reviews for peers and ensure your code passes reviews successfully;

• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, Back-End, and Architecture teams throughout the development process;

• Advocate for your solutions while remaining receptive to feedback and alternative viewpoints from the Architect and the team;

• Ensure the application operates efficiently and securely;

• Support app store releases and monitor the performance of live applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Flutter & Dart Expertise - Over 3 years of commercial experience with Flutter and Dart;

• Strong grasp of Flutter widgets, navigation, and state management (e.g., Provider, Bloc, Riverpod);

• Experience with animations and developing responsive UIs;

• Basic understanding of platform channels and native integrations (Android/iOS);

• Mobile Development Fundamentals - Solid understanding of the mobile app lifecycle and performance optimization;

• Proficient in using debugging tools (Flutter DevTools, Android Studio, Xcode);

• Experience in writing unit and widget tests;

• Familiarity with crash reporting tools (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry);

• Architecture & Code Quality - Knowledge of clean code principles and modular architecture;

• Familiarity with SOLID principles and common design patterns;

• Participated in code reviews and upheld code quality within a team environment;

• CI/CD & Release Management - Experience with mobile build and release processes (iOS/Android);

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Codemagic);

• Basic experience with app store submission workflows (App Store / Google Play);

• API & Backend Integration - Experience with integrating RESTful APIs and handling JSON;

• Understanding of authentication flows (OAuth2, token-based authentication);

• Experience collaborating with backend teams on API integration;

• Version Control & Collaboration - Comfortable with Git workflows (branching, pull requests, conflict resolution);

• Experience working in Agile teams (Jira, Scrum, Kanban);

• Communication & Documentation - Capability to document features, bugs, and technical decisions;

• Effective communication with cross-functional teams in English (B2 level or higher), fluent in Russian.
