This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Design, architect, develop, and troubleshoot essential firmware for the GPU OOBHUB, focusing on reliable peripheral control and secure communication interfaces.
• Create and enhance high-reliability firmware update processes and telemetry systems for next-generation GPU subsystems.
• Work in close collaboration with hardware architects and ASIC designers to kickstart new silicon projects, defining firmware-hardware interfaces and communication protocols.
• Develop secure, contemporary firmware solutions, employing high-reliability programming languages and principles to maintain system stability.
• Collaborate with internal software, hardware, and infrastructure teams to turn innovative architectural features from ideas into production-ready firmware.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in low-level firmware development, embedded systems, or microcontroller programming.
• Strong expertise in managing peripherals and communication stacks using industry-standard protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C/I3C, PCIe, SMBus, MCTP, PLDM).
• Proficient in C development in resource-constrained environments.
• Experience with RISC-V or similar embedded processor architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of software development processes, effective debugging techniques, and a developer-first mindset passionate about writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
