Senior Firewall Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conversion and migration of firewall configurations into the Customer’s security platform.

• Assessment of the Customer’s network environment and development of migration workflows for each use case.

• Collaboration with the Customer to deliver effective solutions and ensure a successful deployment in their production environment.

• Partnering with the Development team to enhance the existing automation framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in roles related to Networks.

• Exceptional knowledge in networks, network security, and network platforms.

• Practical experience in configuring and troubleshooting firewalls from at least two of the following vendors: Cisco (ASA and Firepower), Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet.

• Demonstrated success in customer-facing positions.

• Proficient in scripting with Python.

• Experience with production-grade deployments.

• Familiarity with Linux.

• Proficient in English (minimum B2 level).

• Eagerness to learn – you will encounter challenges that necessitate creativity, individual solutions, and teamwork.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including regular meetings with US-based customers in the afternoons and evenings.
