This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Client Engagement: Collaborate with advisors on clients with assets under management of $2 million or more. Consult with the Financial Planning Manager for clients with assets of $5 million and more complex financial plans.

• Financial Plan Creation: Oversee the development of comprehensive, tailored financial plans, encompassing tax planning, retirement planning, estate planning, investment strategies, and more.

• Plan Review & Implementation: Analyze client data, present findings to clients, and aid in formulating action plans grounded in financial recommendations. Support the execution of financial strategies and monitor progress.

• Process Management: Organize and enhance the Financial Planning team's workflows, including data gathering, plan entry, scenario generation, internal evaluations, and client meeting presentations. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables.

• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and other departments to refine systems, enhance workflows, and establish processes that boost client satisfaction and promote service excellence.

• Mentorship & Leadership: Assist the Financial Planning Manager in mentoring Financial Planning Associates and Interns, guiding them in financial planning methodologies and the culture of the firm.

• Document Organization: Systematically arrange and maintain client documents, ensuring they are uploaded to the correct systems and databases. Manage and troubleshoot connections for client personal financial websites.

• Mergers and Acquisitions Support: Partner with the Director of Financial Planning, Associate Director of Financial Planning, and Financial Planning Manager in the firm's mergers and acquisitions initiatives, including staff training and integration.

• Ongoing Analysis & Research: Consistently investigate financial trends, optimization opportunities, and market shifts to keep the firm’s offerings competitive and current.

• Ongoing Training: Engage in continuous professional development, including onboarding, bi-weekly departmental training, monthly continuing education sessions, and a dedicated professional development hour.

• Certifications & Specializations: Show interest in obtaining additional financial planning designations or certifications that align with your career aspirations and the firm’s requirements.

• Legislative Awareness: Remain informed about changes in legislation (e.g., SECURE Act 2.0) and educate the firm on potential implications.

• Software & Process Improvements: Assess and implement enhancements to the financial planning tools and software utilized by the team, ensuring they are efficient and effective.

• Service Offering Development: Lead or actively engage in the creation of new service offerings tailored to the regional client base, augmenting the firm’s capabilities in wealth management.

• Client & Centers of Influence Engagement: Spearhead client seminars and local events in the region to foster relationships and provide educational support. Actively participate in meetings to implement financial strategies for clients.


⛳️ Requirements

• Certification: Must hold a Certified Financial Planner designation.

• Experience: 3-7 years of experience in financial services or a related area, with a focus on financial planning.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial planning software is preferred (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Office Suite, Tamarac, eMoney, Money Guide Pro, Social Security Analyzer, Advisys, Zilculator, Holistiplan, Planner CS, Monday.com).

• Client Relationship Skills: Strong aptitude for establishing and maintaining long-term client relationships while providing customized financial advice.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the capability to clearly present complex financial strategies.

• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrating collaboration and relationship-building abilities.

• Independent Worker: Capability to work autonomously, managing multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail, ensuring precision in all financial planning processes and documentation.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to swiftly and effectively address challenges, ensuring client satisfaction and smooth operations.

• Education: Bachelor's degree is required.
