This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Executing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) checks including Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and Sanctions.
• Conducting investigations arising from trigger events such as transaction monitoring alerts or inquiries regarding the source of wealth to detect suspicious activities.
• Carrying out manual tasks such as reviewing documents and implementing risk-based account closures.
• Offering recommendations and making decisions on financial crime-related requests submitted by other teams within the organization.
• Complying with all relevant financial crime processes and procedures to execute operational financial crime workflows.
• Actively identifying challenges within existing processes and procedures and implementing enhancements.
• A strong interest in Financial Crime and Fraud.
• Ability to work independently, learn rapidly, and utilize initiative.
• Solid understanding of risk mitigation strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and investigative abilities with the capacity to make informed decisions using sound judgment.
• Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Previous experience in working with data and using it to develop recommendations for process improvements.
