Senior Financial Analyst – Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the formulation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial reports.

• Apply sophisticated financial modeling techniques to generate comprehensive forecasts and conduct variance analysis to elucidate significant financial trends.

• Create and deliver financial analyses both visually and verbally to business executives.

• Assist in month-end closing processes.

• Collaborate closely with business leaders, including VPs, to gain insights into their operational activities.

• Execute in-depth analyses for investment initiatives and capital distribution purposes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in Finance, Financial Analytics, Technology Finance, FinOps, or a comparable position.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field.

• Knowledge of cloud billing and usage-based cost models; experience with GCP and FinOps is advantageous.

• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with complex data pipelines; preference for Google BigQuery experience.

• Excellent Excel capabilities with a background in constructing intricate financial models.

• Experience with Tableau or similar business intelligence tools, emphasizing data accuracy and quality control measures.

• Background in supporting month-end closing processes, including accruals, reclassifications, or chargebacks.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to visually present complex data and collaborate effectively across various organizational levels.
