This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Overseeing all billing functions for a complex or high-volume portfolio, which includes fewer than 500 accounts.

• Responsible for collecting all premiums/fees and claims/claims funding as invoiced.

• Addressing and resolving all billing-related inquiries.

• Collaborating with both internal and external partners to foster a positive client experience.

• Identifying opportunities to improve processes that enhance client satisfaction and mitigate financial risk.

• Ensuring the successful financial implementation of new and renewing clients.

• Making independent decisions regarding credits and debits, as well as notifications and communications about client receivables.

• Offering support to both external and internal customers concerning all billing matters related to premium and claims/claims funding.

• Analyzing daily Automated Clearing House (ACH) tap files before submission to Treasury and the bank.

• Conducting audits as necessary to maintain financial controls.

• Designing, improving, and maintaining system applications for financial information processing and reporting as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.

• A Bachelor's degree in finance is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant billing experience is required.

• Experience in customer/client service is required.

• Reconciliation experience is required.

• Data analysis experience is required.

• Previous experience in billing or collections is strongly preferred.

• Exceptional systems experience, particularly with Excel for reporting, is required.

• A general understanding of insurance products, procedures, and systems for the specific functional area is desired.

• Prior experience working with matrix partners is preferred.

• Experience with SAP and Facets is strongly preferred.

• Strong Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables and v-lookups, are required.
