Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term planning activities for Vultr's cloud compute, GPU, and various product lines.

• Develop and uphold intricate financial models for SaaS and GPUaaS revenue streams, encompassing ARR, MRR, churn, utilization rates, and unit economics.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing teams to create financial business cases, pricing analyses, and go-to-market investment strategies.

• Produce monthly and quarterly management reporting packages that include variance analysis, KPI dashboards, and executive-level commentary on financial performance.

• Examine GPU infrastructure utilization, capacity costs, and gross margin dynamics to inform pricing and capacity planning decisions for Vultr’s GPUaaS offerings.

• Model and project the financial performance and capital structure, including the application of SPVs and debt financing, for large-scale AI/GPU infrastructure investment deals.

• Perform competitive benchmarking and market analysis to place Vultr's financial performance within the broader cloud infrastructure landscape.

• Assist with strategic initiatives such as fundraising, M&A due diligence, and board-level financial presentations through meticulous financial analysis and modeling.

• Discover opportunities to enhance financial processes, automate reporting, and improve data infrastructure to boost the efficiency and accuracy of FP&A operations.

• Exhibit adaptability and flexibility in utilizing various AI-related technologies, including Gemini and Claude.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of FP&A or corporate finance experience, preferably within a cloud infrastructure, SaaS, or rapidly growing technology company.

• Proven expertise in cloud/SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, NDR, LTV, CAC) and an understanding of GPU-as-a-Service or compute infrastructure economics.

• Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling; experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with ERP and FP&A platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar).

• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to clearly present financial data to non-finance executives and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA is preferred.
