This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Prepare and examine journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
• Analyze financial data and develop financial models for forecasting, trending, and results analysis to aid in business planning and decision-making processes.
• Generate financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Compile and present a precise monthly summary of expenses and direct costs with clear, action-oriented commentary and analysis.
• Gather, assess, and analyze financial information and statements.
• High School Diploma/GED with six (6) years of experience in Accounting/Finance/Business or a financial analysis-related field, which includes analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports, or preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations; OR an Associate’s degree with four (4) years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years of pertinent experience; OR a suitable combination of education and experience.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Candidate must reside in North Carolina.
• Ability to travel within the catchment area as needed.
• Experience with “Dynamic Arrays” in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
