Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• The Financial Analyst will oversee technical application support for Enterprise Data Management (EDM).

• Assist the EDM Architect with project implementations, complex issue resolution, troubleshooting analyses, and system enhancements.

• Facilitate the resolution of inquiries and concerns regarding EDM Workflows, EDM metadata modifications, subscriptions, and integrations.

• Support related functions such as Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Integration.

• Collaborate with the EDMCS Architect to expand, improve, and maintain EDMCS (Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Services).

• Manage custom properties and configurations to fulfill specific business needs associated with the EDM mapping tool for financial reporting.

• Oversee inbound and outbound integration processes utilizing EPM Automate, REST API, and Windows batch scripts.

• Enhance EDMCS workflows to optimize data governance, fortify the security matrix, and improve overall process efficiency within EDMCS and associated applications such as HFM, Planning, Workday, and Workforce Planning.

• Establish robust validation rules and mechanisms to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance within EDMCS.

• Develop clean, efficient, single-threaded code with appropriate commenting techniques to maintain an audit trail.

• Debug and troubleshoot existing code to detect and rectify errors.

• Engage in unit testing, system testing, and integration testing during EDMCS implementations.

• Work closely with the EDMCS functional team to assist in technical builds, participate in code reviews, and support software development lifecycle objectives.

• Document and sustain technical documentation and training materials.

• Provide solutions for data and metadata loading errors.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience/bootcamp/certification).

• Practical experience in EDMCS with foundational programming language skills.

• Familiarity with software tools such as Microsoft.

• A proactive approach to troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving complex issues.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.

• Internship experience or personal projects that demonstrate coding proficiency.

• Understanding of databases (preferably SQL) and operating systems.

• Awareness of Agile development methodologies.
