Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the financial operations for a rapidly expanding SaaS and marketplace enterprise.

• Responsible for revenue forecasting, billing, collections, monthly closing, and board reporting.

• Develop and uphold forecasting models for subscription, revenue-sharing, and project-based revenue streams.

• Analyze new customer cohorts, ramp assumptions, and ARPU trends.

• Reconcile revenue across Stripe, ACH, and partner payouts.

• Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to convert pipeline data into a reliable revenue forecast.

• Oversee cash flow forecasting, payment scheduling, and Stripe payout timelines.

• Assist with tax filings and the documentation of R&D tax credits.

• Propel process enhancements in payment categorization and financial data SLAs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or revenue operations, preferably in a SaaS, marketplace, or fintech environment.

• Proficient in financial modeling using Excel or Google Sheets; adept at building models from scratch.

• Familiarity with billing and payment systems (experience with Stripe is advantageous) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).

• Knowledge of US GAAP and SaaS revenue recognition principles.

• Exceptional attention to detail; able to identify reconciliation discrepancies before they escalate into issues.

• Strong written communication skills; capable of conveying financial data to non-financial audiences.

• Self-motivated individual who sets their own objectives and thrives in minimally structured environments.

• Preferred: Experience with revenue-sharing or GMV-based revenue models.

• Proficiency in SQL or basic data tools to extract data directly from source systems.

• Previous involvement in supporting R&D tax credit applications.

• Prior work experience at a Seed–Series B startup.

• Acquainted with Carta and equity administration.
