Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain financial models that aid in business forecasting and planning activities.

• Examine and interpret financial data, statements, and key performance indicators.

• Offer financial guidance for business decisions by assessing financial performance and pinpointing areas for enhancement.

• Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams to promote operational enhancements and cost-saving initiatives.

• Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and provide support for special projects as required.

• Develop and maintain financial reporting tools to ensure visibility into business performance.

• Guarantee the integrity and accuracy of financial data by overseeing financial data systems and controls.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting position.

• Strong operational accounting expertise in a dynamic, complex environment.

• Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

• Outstanding customer service skills, demonstrating courtesy and patience in interactions.

• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities; experience in data collection, fact establishment, and valid conclusion drawing.

• A high level of dependability and reliability is essential.

• Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with accounting principles under GAAP.

• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, particularly in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.

• Experience in the construction or real estate industry is preferred, but not mandatory; professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are advantageous.

• SAP experience is preferred.
