This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Take ownership of and provide support for essential finance operations encompassing accounting, FP&A, treasury, reporting, and business analysis.
• Assist in the monthly closing process, which includes reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis, and financial statement evaluation.
• Oversee cash position, aid in treasury management, and manage cash flow planning and forecasting activities.
• Direct the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across the organization.
• Develop and maintain financial models that support strategic initiatives, operational decision-making, and resource allocation.
• Evaluate monthly financial outcomes to detect trends, risks, opportunities, and drivers of business performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial visibility and operational efficiency.
• Create executive-level reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking for the leadership team.
• Provide support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor payments, contractor payments, and related finance workflows as required.
• Assist with tax, audit, compliance, banking, and lender-related inquiries.
• Enhance and automate financial reporting processes while ensuring data accuracy throughout financial systems and reporting tools.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance, accounting, or related fields.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end closing procedures.
• Experience with treasury management, cash flow oversight, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting.
• Strong capabilities in financial modeling and analytical thinking.
• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and financial reporting tools.
• Proven experience managing budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and KPI reporting.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly communicate financial insights.
• Comfortable handling a wide range of finance responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in professional English communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Experience in rapidly growing startups, technology companies, or international settings is advantageous.
• FP&A expertise is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with BI tools, accounting systems, and financial systems is a plus.
