Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conducting a thorough analysis of monthly financial and operational outcomes, identifying key variance drivers, and delivering actionable insights to senior management.

• Leading analytical initiatives from start to finish with minimal supervision that will shape the company's strategic plan and influence decision-making.

• Supporting the preparation of the annual budget and ongoing forecasting activities.

• Collaborating independently across various disciplines to comprehend essential business drivers and revise assumptions.

• Creating regular reporting packages for senior management and the Board of Directors.

• Assisting with SEC reporting, including the preparation of quarterly MD&A.

• Cultivating a comprehensive understanding of the global business landscape and markets in which Everbridge operates.

• Remote work is permitted.

• Up to 10% regional and national travel required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Analytics, or a related field, along with 8 years of experience in a financial analyst position.

• Alternatively, a Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Analytics, or a related field with 4 years of experience in a financial analyst role will be accepted.

• Strong accounting skills.

• Proficient mathematical, financial, and analytical abilities, including the capability to develop financial models and lead efforts to automate and enhance scalable financial processes.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to complete complex tasks with minimal oversight.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of Power Query and pivot tables, as well as experience in writing logical and conditional functions.

• Hands-on experience with data engineering using large datasets, including data cleaning, logical transformation, and governance.

• Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Domo, etc.).
