Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Manages the due diligence process for various financing agreements.

• Acts as the intermediary between Brookdale, the lender, and legal representatives.

• Oversees finance assistants in collaboration with appraisal, engineering, and environmental firms.

• Prepares, validates, and oversees the entry of monthly and quarterly journal entries for debt and lease accounting into the general ledger.

• Completes reconciliations of balance sheet accounts by the designated deadlines.

• Produces supporting schedules and workpapers for the company’s quarterly and annual SEC submissions.

• Compiles audit schedules and addresses auditor inquiries during financial, SOX, or other audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited four-year institution is mandatory.

• A minimum of three to five years of experience in accounting or finance is essential.

• Strong interpersonal skills are necessary, as this role involves extensive collaboration with departmental staff.

• Excellent organizational skills are essential, along with the capability to manage large projects effectively.

• Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications, preferably Microsoft Word and Excel.
