Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Generate monthly internal financial reports to evaluate actuals against budget, forecast, and previous year, including an analysis of significant variances and their contributing factors.

• Develop, maintain, and improve KPI dashboards to track business performance across consolidated, business unit, channel, or location levels.

• Assist in the complete financial planning cycle, including the annual long-range plan with quarterly updates, annual budgets, and monthly forecasts.

• Convert complex financial data into actionable business insights by pinpointing variances, trends, risks, and opportunities through monthly and quarterly business reviews and weekly scorecards.

• Deliver insights and business intelligence to stakeholders through high-quality, data-driven financial and operational analyses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and management reporting.

• More than 2 years of experience in a large retail or omnichannel organization.

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with meticulous attention to detail and effective communication skills.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel/VBA with practical experience using Power BI.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
