Senior Financial Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the preparation and ongoing management of financial accounting, encompassing payment transactions.

• Responsible for the creation and consolidation of monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).

• Preparation of VAT returns.

• Submission of required statistical reports.

• Collaboration in the preparation of continuous accounting and financial statements for European subsidiaries.

• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and expense/revenue accounts, alongside intercompany (IC) reconciliations.

• Provide support during audits carried out by external auditing firms.

• Generate analyses and reports intended for management review.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified financial accountant).

• Experience with SAP Cloud ERP / S/4 is considered a plus.

• Strong knowledge of SAP ByDesign is preferred.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Good command of English is essential for effective collaboration in an international team.
