Senior Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will take on the operational and analytical finance responsibility in a setup that consistently automates processes.

• Accounting & Closing – end-to-end: You will be fully responsible for the monthly closing process – account reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and GoBD-compliant documentation.

• Controlling & Reporting: You will build and maintain management reporting – P&L, KPI dashboards, and budget variance analyses.

• Finance Automation: You will actively drive the automation of finance workflows – from DATEV integration to automated reporting pipelines.

• Liquidity & Commercial Stability: You will monitor cash flows, due dates, and liquidity, ensuring that daily operations – invoicing, payments, receivables, and payables – run reliably and transparently.

• Mid-term: Head of Finance. You will gradually take on more ownership – over processes, tools, and eventually the finance team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of professional experience (at least 4+ years) in finance or accounting – ideally from a dynamic environment such as SaaS, scale-ups, or the digital mid-market.

• Solid accounting background: You are confident in closing processes, familiar with HGB, and not intimidated by a DATEV environment.

• Initial experience in controlling or FP&A: You can not only book numbers but also read and explain them.

• Genuine curiosity about automation and AI in finance: You have improved a process with a tool and find that satisfying, not daunting.

• Structured, independent working style: You organize yourself, set priorities, and seek advice when necessary – not when you already know the answer.

• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, along with good business English.
