Senior Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Supervise financial operations, reporting, and compliance in a dynamic remote setting.

• Develop, maintain, and revise weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.

• Prepare and oversee monthly profit and loss statements along with financial reporting packages.

• Evaluate financial performance and pinpoint trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts.

• Handle daily bookkeeping and financial data entry tasks.

• Execute accounts receivable and payable processes.

• Manage and triage the finance inbox, escalating issues as necessary.

• Input and organize invoices, bills, and payment documentation.

• Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and other accounts.

• Follow up with vendors regarding invoices, payment status, and any discrepancies.

• Maintain and update weekly cash flow tracking reports.

• Aid in tracking expenses and preparing financial reports.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of payments.

• Keep organized financial records and supporting documentation.

• Assist in payroll preparation and related administrative finance tasks.

• Support various ad-hoc finance and operations projects as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations.

• Extensive experience in managing bookkeeping, accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, and reporting.

• Practical experience in preparing and managing profit and loss statements.

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets (reporting and modeling).

• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or equivalent.

• Capability to analyze financial data and convey insights effectively.

• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Experience in vendor management and overseeing cross-functional finance workflows.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.

• Availability to work full-time during UK-aligned hours.
