Senior Finance Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial reporting across monthly, quarterly, and annual intervals.

• Ensure robust compliance with U.S. financial regulations and standards, encompassing GAAP, IRS requirements, SEC reporting, and SOX when applicable.

• Offer guidance and support to bookkeepers and other finance personnel, ensuring that work is accurately coded and structured from both accounting and tax perspectives.

• Enhance and modernize financial processes by identifying opportunities for automation and optimizing workflow design.

• Research, assess, and implement AI-driven and financial technology tools to enhance reporting speed, accuracy, forecasting, and decision-making.

• Assist in designing scalable accounting and finance processes for a growing business, with a strong emphasis on efficiency and control.

• Clearly present financial insights and recommendations to company leadership and key stakeholders.

• Evaluate the operational and compliance impacts of adopting new AI and financial tools, including considerations for data integrity, privacy, and audit trails.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in U.S. accounting, financial compliance, and reporting.

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, IRS regulations, and general U.S. financial controls; familiarity with SEC reporting and SOX is a plus.

• Experience collaborating with U.S.-based entities and advising on accounting treatment, financial structure, and compliance decisions.

• Ability to guide bookkeepers and finance support staff with a comprehensive understanding of how transactions should be classified and managed.

• Proven experience in enhancing finance processes, reporting workflows, and planning methodologies.

• Willingness to embrace AI tools, automation, and contemporary finance systems.

• Strong strategic thinking, ownership, and communication abilities.

• Nice to Have

• CPA or an equivalent strong U.S. accounting certification/background.

• Experience with multi-entity or multi-state U.S. businesses.

• Background in implementing financial systems, automation, or AI-enabled finance tools.
