This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Carry out service tasks in accordance with ABB's quality and safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by executing service tasks based on customer orders and expectations.
• Convey timelines and expectations for service work to promote customer loyalty.
• Conduct field service operations, which include identifying technical issues and troubleshooting on-site.
• Implement installation, maintenance, repairs, and replacements as required.
• Assist in the certification processes for Associate Field Service Technicians and Field Service Technicians.
• Mentor technicians and oversee intricate site activities.
• Compile material lists for service tasks while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Detect potential equipment failures and suggest corrective measures.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Recognize new sales opportunities and relay customer needs to internal teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with over 6 years of experience in servicing critical power equipment, OR an Associate's Degree in electrical technology with more than 8 years of experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED combined with equivalent work or military experience (10+ years).
• Strong ability to engage and communicate effectively (both written and verbal).
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office products at an advanced level.
• Moderate capability in Project Management utilizing MS Project or Excel.
• High proficiency in drafting test plans and reports that detail testing outcomes.
• Must possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the United States.
