This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +3 more states.
• The National Account Executive is responsible for selling Wolters Kluwer’s Compliance Solution products.
• The role primarily aims to expand WK’s business by focusing on existing mid-market and upper-market insurance firms.
• A significant portion of the time is dedicated to developing and nurturing relationships with national account customers.
• Utilizes an understanding of the customer’s business strategies, products, services, marketing techniques, and policies to effectively present WK solutions.
• Collaborates with the assigned Account Manager to create account plans that align with the goals and objectives of the respective territory.
• Achieves sales targets by enhancing existing inventory and concentrating on new sales growth within the designated territory.
• Invests time in developing and maintaining both existing and new customer relationships.
• Operates within a financial environment characterized by a complex financial structure and decision-making hierarchy.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent job-related experience is required.
• At least 5 years of prior experience in direct account management, inside sales, or outside sales.
• Familiarity with financial or insurance-related product offerings is essential.
• An understanding of an insurance agency’s structure and its impact on the sales cycle or plan is necessary.
• Proficient in PC usage with experience in basic technology components like MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A fundamental knowledge of core systems typically used by insurance companies is preferred.
• A business background with a basic understanding of financial statement analysis and accounting concepts/terminology is desired.
• Proven effective prospecting skills are required.
• Strong presentation skills in various formal settings are essential.
• High level of experience with group or committee dynamics is important.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Strong consultative skills with a customer-driven focus are essential.
• Excellent negotiation skills are required.
• Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills are necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously is essential.
