Senior Field Clinical Research Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Offer field support for a range of clinical research studies, encompassing site selection, activation, protocol setup, training, participant enrollment assistance, case support, quality data collection, and study closure.

• Address the needs of clinical research sites through regular email, phone, and on-site interactions with investigators and research coordinators.

• Maintain awareness of clinical sites within a specified geographic region and evaluate the interests and capabilities of investigators.

• Liaise with in-house clinical trial leaders about the progress and performance of various studies.

• Assist with the allocation, distribution, and reconciliation of devices.

• Facilitate the successful execution of assigned clinical studies in line with regulations, guidelines, and policies.

• Collaborate with Monitoring, Data Management, Research & Development, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, and Clinical teams.

• Identify and address quality risks and issues, overseeing the resolution of site-related problems.

• Refer to SOPs and study management procedures for routine study tasks.

• Engage in training to broaden knowledge and skills.

• Aid in the oversight of activities carried out by Contract Research Organizations, core laboratories, and other collaborators.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of clinical research or clinical experience, or an advanced degree with 2 years of clinical research or clinical experience.

• Proficient in English, possessing exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.

• Strong prioritization and organizational capabilities.

• Effective problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Willingness to travel up to 75%, primarily within Europe.
