This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead assessments of potential properties for acquisition.
• Identify and generate targets.
• Design and manage field programs from target definition to resource expansion.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, utilizing KoBold’s technology to inform exploration initiatives.
• Work with senior technical advisors and the executive team on acquisition strategies and field program investment proposals.
• Ensure that field programs are executed safely and efficiently.
• Strong technical expertise in one or more ore deposit types. Experience with sediment-hosted stratiform copper or magmatic sulfide deposits is a plus.
• Proficiency in generative analysis, from developing new concepts to integrating, interpreting, and modeling extensive datasets.
• Solid field skills and experience managing field programs at various project stages, from grassroots prospects to advanced projects with significant drilling activities.
• Basic proficiency in standard desktop software applications (e.g., ArcGIS or QGIS).
• Exceptional leadership abilities, including the capacity to motivate and inspire others, share ownership and accountability for project results, and collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
• Previous experience in mentoring and training geoscientists from diverse backgrounds and cultures in best practices for mineral exploration.
• A demonstrated commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards in the workplace.
• At least 10 years of experience in the mineral exploration sector.
