This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the strategy, planning, execution, and overall success of the events channel within the Transportation and Warehousing sector.
• Manage comprehensive event program logistics from initial planning through to post-event follow-up, which includes vendor management, budget oversight, event promotions, sales enablement, data tracking/cleansing, KPI measurement, and upkeep of all event assets.
• Oversee event budget forecasting and reporting, assess and communicate results against established goals, and extract insights for future enhancements.
• Ensure prompt processing of event leads within Salesforce, evaluate event effectiveness, and create post-event reports to share valuable insights.
• Maintain project management tools, documentation, event calendars, and processes essential for organizing event marketing programs and tradeshows.
• Provide support to Private Sector sales teams and clients at Samsara’s annual user conference, Beyond.
• Infuse energy, creativity, and innovative ideas to cultivate a thriving event program.
• Promote and exemplify Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we expand globally and across new offices.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in field or event marketing, product marketing, project or program management, with at least 3 years in a B2B high-tech product/solution environment.
• Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities with the ability to prioritize effectively amid numerous tasks and deliver high-quality work on time.
• Proficient in establishing strong relationships with cross-functional internal teams and external partners, with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
• Excellent business acumen coupled with a passion for data-driven decision-making and experimentation; experienced in using a CRM or Marketing Automation platform.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• This position is remote and open to candidates located in the United States. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
• This role requires travel up to 40% of the time.
