This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the creation of cost estimates for government projects, including civil, industrial, and infrastructure initiatives.
• Leverage InEight software to manage estimates, develop cost databases, and produce bid proposals.
• Evaluate blueprints, specifications, and related documentation to ascertain project scope and technical requirements.
• Examine RFQs, RFPs, and bid solicitations to ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS and other government regulations.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs, material pricing assessments, labor analysis, and subcontractor evaluations.
• Work in collaboration with project managers and engineers to pinpoint risk factors, value engineering prospects, and project efficiencies.
• Generate cost summaries and reports for executive review and client submission.
• Engage in bid reviews, negotiation sessions, and project transitions.
• Maintain and refresh estimating standards, pricing data, and historical cost records within InEight.
• Guarantee accuracy, transparency, and compliance throughout all estimating activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• A minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in construction, ideally with federal or public sector projects.
• Strong expertise in InEight Cost, Estimate, and Project Controls modules.
• Established history of successful bids in government contracting settings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FAR/DFARS, prevailing wage, and contract compliance standards.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with project managers, procurement teams, and clients.
