Senior Epic Certified Systems Analyst – Community Connect, MyChart

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Implements and upholds EpicCare systems and databases to guarantee optimal performance. Analyzes new releases and assesses their impact on workflow.

• Specifies modifications to application software or databases to enhance system functions.

• Facilitates updates to Epic, new releases, and system enhancements. Oversees all testing phases and supports the Lead/Project Manager in project efforts and scoping.

• Directs intricate IT projects/products to deliver automated solutions that align with Inova Health System's business requirements using the EpicCare solution.

• Initiates issue resolution while promptly escalating and communicating status updates to management.

• Conducts and participates in technical and application system reviews to evaluate feasibility, cost, and utility for Inova. Coordinates vendor demonstrations, site visits, and reference inquiries.

• Recommends training programs for the team/analysts and aids in the development and implementation of training and mentoring activities for team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• **Education:** Bachelor's degree; or an Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant professional experience beyond the minimum experience required; or a HS Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant professional experience beyond the minimum experience required.

• **Experience:** 3 years of Epic build and implementation experience; 3 years of project management experience in hospital or healthcare settings.

• **Certification:** Epic certification in MyChart is mandatory.

• **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience with Community Connect is preferred.
