Senior Environmental Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee that Ryder's environmental initiatives are executed in alignment with all regulatory and Ryder standards.

• Direct the implementation of the FMS 15-year Fuel Storage Tank Management Plan for designated regions.

• Provide essential project oversight for specific site-related endeavors.

• Administer the Building Materials Assessment Program to support Corporate Building Initiatives.

• Oversee Environmental Due Diligence necessary for Ryder Acquisitions.

• Ensure that environmental project standards and engineering practices adhere to Environmental Capital and Financial Reserve standards, as well as Ryder's guidelines.

• Manage supplier qualifications and the competitive bidding processes for services related to environmental consulting, contracting, and laboratory services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in engineering, geology, environmental sciences, project management, or related disciplines.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing site assessment and remediation projects following UST removals.

• At least 10 years of extensive experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, maintaining, upgrading, and replacing underground and above-ground fuel tank systems and associated infrastructure.

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive project management experience, focusing on underground and above-ground fuel storage and dispensing infrastructure within a regional or national operating context.
