Senior Enterprise Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create systems and tools that enhance the security framework of Life360's DLP, device hardening, SaaS, and zero trust layers.

• Implement security strategies and policies for services and SaaS applications developed by Life360.

• Assess and offer architectural guidance on infrastructure systems, fleet management, and automation processes.

• Manage the health and coverage of EDR agent deployment across the endpoint fleet, ensuring that CrowdStrike Falcon agents are installed, up to date, and properly configured on every managed device; collaborate with IT and D&R to identify and address coverage gaps.

• Collaborate with D&R on log source enablement, ensuring that corporate systems (Kandji, Intune, Slack, Box, Google Workspace) provide the necessary telemetry for detection and investigation, without being responsible for the detection logic itself.

• Develop and manage agent-assisted workflows that take action across endpoint, SaaS, and awareness domains—leveraging AI rather than performing tasks manually, with appropriate safeguards on anything involving sensitive data or production systems.

• Automate repetitive tasks using Python, Tray.io, Lambda, and AI agents to reduce manual effort in endpoint, SaaS, and corporate security workflows.

• Design controls that meet SOC 2 and privacy standards across device and SaaS layers, working with GRC on evidence collection and audit preparedness.

• Lead the security awareness program from start to finish, including creating and delivering training, conducting phishing simulations, tracking and reporting metrics, and continuously enhancing the program to foster measurable behavior change.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in security engineering with significant hands-on responsibility in endpoint security (Kandji/Intune/Jamf/CrowdStrike), SaaS security, or DLP.

• Practical AWS security experience, encompassing IAM policies and CloudTrail, with the ability to investigate cloud activities comprehensively and design effective guardrails.

• In-depth knowledge of operating systems with strong proficiency in two or more areas: device hardening (macOS, Windows), SaaS security, DLP, or assurance and validation.

• Background in securing corporate email infrastructure, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and anti-phishing measures in Google Workspace or comparable platforms.

• Experience in designing and managing zero trust access controls, including device trust signals, conditional access, and contextual access policies.

• Demonstrated success in implementing preventative controls.

• Experience overseeing EDR fleet health at scale, which includes agent deployment, version management, policy compliance, and remediation of coverage gaps (CrowdStrike Falcon preferred).

• Proficient AI user, familiar with tools like Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar; capable of discerning when to trust LLM outputs; has successfully deployed automations or agents in production settings.

• Comfortable working with APIs and MCP, not just configuring graphical user interfaces.

• Effective and straightforward communicator who addresses risks directly and fosters alignment with IT, Engineering, and leadership teams.

• Strong collaborator who prioritizes effectively and can work autonomously with minimal supervision.

• Preference for engineering solutions over ticketing; pragmatic zero-trust mindset.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
