• Direct the enterprise architecture for the F-35 LogIT solution, ensuring coherence among OEM data sources, DAAS, ELMS/DPAS, DLA EBS/IDE, ILS-S, Navy ERP, USTRANSCOM IGC, JPO systems, and Advana environments.
• Take ownership of and manage architecture deliverables such as OV-1, SV-1, and OV-5b, which include operational flow diagrams, system interaction narratives, stakeholder context, and data lifecycle workflows.
• Create and sustain model-based architecture perspectives in Cameo utilizing SysML and relevant UAF/DoDAF constructs to facilitate enterprise traceability, communication, and design governance.
• Set modeling standards, naming conventions, relationships, viewpoints, and traceability patterns in Cameo, ensuring that architecture artifacts remain consistent, extensible, and auditable throughout the program.
• Define the architecture for secure and scalable transport of logistics, supply, readiness, and financial data across IL2, IL4, IL5, and possibly IL6 environments, incorporating Cross Domain Solutions, NIPR/SIPR separation, and security overlays.
• Design message mediation and interoperability patterns across both legacy and modern technologies, including DLMS, MILSTRIP, EDI X12, flat files, SQL, XML, REST, GraphQL, SOAP, and message broker patterns.
• Establish canonical data models, metadata strategies, lineage expectations, quality controls, and system partitioning methods that promote auditability, traceability, and alignment with enterprise analytics.
• Ensure the architecture embodies human-centered design requirements by integrating mission users, stakeholder scenarios, and operational roles into the model and view set.
• Facilitate architecture workshops, stakeholder reviews, and concurrence sessions to refine views and ensure traceability back to the OSW parent perspective and enterprise mission outcomes.
• Aid in quarterly PI planning, sprint reviews, and roadmap activities by translating contractual obligations and mission priorities into architectural guardrails, sequencing suggestions, and design decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer science, information systems, engineering management, enterprise architecture, or a related technical field.
• 10 or more years of pertinent experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, systems architecture, or large-scale integration architecture within defense, federal, ERP, logistics, or supply chain domains.
• Proven experience in generating architecture artifacts for complex system-of-systems environments, including operational views, system views, workflow models, interface views, and traceability structures.
• Demonstrated expertise with Cameo Systems Modeler / MagicDraw and SysML, along with hands-on experience using model-based systems engineering to establish and maintain architecture baselines.
• Experience implementing UAF, DoDAF, or similar defense architecture methodologies to convey architecture to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of DoD logistics and sustainment integration patterns involving government systems such as DAAS, ELMS/DPAS, DLA EBS/IDE, ILS-S, Navy ERP, JPO systems, USTRANSCOM IGC, or equivalent mission systems.
• Familiarity with ERP-centered data integration concepts, particularly where SAP or comparable ERP platforms function as a conduit between OEM workflows and government logistics or financial systems.
• Understanding of secure architecture principles across DoD environments, including NIST 800-53, RMF, DISA STIGs, Zero Trust, CAC/PIV, PKI, RBAC/ABAC, encryption, and Cross Domain Solutions.
• Ability to articulate architecture decisions clearly to executives, program managers, system owners, and engineering teams.
• Active SECRET clearance or the capability to obtain and maintain one.
