• Establish the vision, architecture, and roadmap for large-scale Conversational AI chatbot solutions aimed at student support.
• Take ownership of the complete strategy, design, and implementation of conversational AI platforms.
• Lead the development and enhancement of chatbots utilizing CX Agent Studio, Dialogflow CX, and GCP services.
• Manage and provide mentorship to a team of developers and engineers, including remote personnel.
• Set priorities, KPIs, and success metrics to balance delivery, quality, and innovation.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Guarantee that chatbot solutions are scalable, secure, and adhere to enterprise architecture standards.
• Oversee budget planning, forecasting, and cost optimization for chatbot platforms and cloud infrastructure.
• Track system performance, usage analytics, and continuously enhance chatbot effectiveness.
• Promote the adoption of best practices in software engineering, DevOps, and agile methodologies.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on project progress, risks, and financial status.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and accessibility standards.
• Advocate for continuous improvement and innovation in AI-driven student support.
• Promote agile processes.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, including contract coordination, deliverable tracking, and assurance of service quality.
• Over 6 years of experience in software development, systems integration, or IT solutions.
• More than 2 years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
• At least 5 years of experience with cloud platforms, with a strong preference for GCP.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience with conversational AI platforms.
• At least 1 year of experience in budgeting, cost management, and financial planning for IT projects.
• More than 1 year of experience managing budgets and vendor/platform costs.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information Technology.
