• Lead and oversee various teams of IT professionals, including network engineers, systems administrators, and operations personnel, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Enhance team capabilities through mentoring, training, and performance management initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to formulate and implement the infrastructure and operations strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization’s broader IT and business objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among teams and departments.
• Play a vital role in the development and execution of infrastructure strategies that support the organization’s long-term goals and objectives.
• Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of all infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and data centers.
• Propel continuous improvement in infrastructure performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Manage the daily operations of IT systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Establish and enforce best practices, processes, and procedures for IT operations, encompassing incident, problem, and change management.
• Ensure compliance of all systems and operations with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Provide advanced technical guidance and support to teams, especially in resolving complex technical challenges.
• Lead intricate infrastructure projects, from planning and design to implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and resources, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements, ensuring third-party services meet company standards.
• Oversee the implementation and management of robust security protocols to protect IT systems and data.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to security policies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Proven track record in managing complex infrastructure environments and leading multiple technical teams.
• In-depth expertise in one or more of the following areas: Server management, networking, security, storage systems, and/or data center operations; Network protocols, firewall management, and security best practices; Cloud computing platforms and hybrid infrastructure environments; Virtualization technologies and/or disaster recovery planning; Management of End User Services technologies; ITSM processes and procedures; Monitoring, observability, and/or event management.
• Strong leadership abilities with the capability to inspire, lead, and cultivate high-performing teams.
• Excellent project management skills, demonstrated by a history of successfully delivering complex IT projects.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, accompanied by a strategic mindset.
