This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assess partner and platform components for compatibility with Red Hat technologies, evaluate their suitability for specific customer use cases, and offer strategic recommendations to ensure optimal integration and performance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for both the Red Hat product portfolio and partner products, comprehending the product purpose, functionality, its impact on joint customers, and roadmap details.
• Work collaboratively with product, architecture, and partner engineering teams to define necessary platform components across RHEL, OpenShift, OpenStack, and ecosystem integrations, ensuring that customer and partner use cases are fully supported, while identifying dependencies, validating requirements, and guiding teams to the best technical solutions.
• Establish and facilitate engineering-to-engineering collaboration between Red Hat and its partners.
• Organize and conduct roadmap review and planning sessions between Red Hat and partner technical teams.
• Assist partners in navigating technical development and testing obstacles.
• Support partners through the validated installation and configuration processes, providing quick guides targeted towards the integration of Red Hat platforms, ensuring their hardware, drivers, and applications meet Red Hat’s engineering, certification, and supportability standards.
• Lead cross-functional engineering reviews to guarantee that Red Hat platforms and partner integrations meet enterprise-level standards for stability, interoperability, security, and scalability, guiding teams in identifying risks, validating architectural decisions, and driving resolutions among product and ecosystem stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Red Hat engineering and partner teams to confirm that software updates, fixes, and platform changes operate correctly across partner solutions, managing testing requirements, reviewing outcomes, and ensuring any compatibility or regression issues are identified and resolved prior to release.
• Conduct regular partner interlocks with Red Hat Ecosystem stakeholders to ensure alignment on joint products and solutions.
• Collaborate with partners to develop go-to-market materials, presentations, white papers, and blogs that highlight the results of the collaboration with Red Hat and its partners.
• A Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering Technology, or a related field, along with five (5) years of experience in the offered job or a related role.
• Five (5) years of experience in managing partner escalations and customer success metrics, as well as technical support engineering, partner engineering, or network solutions engineering in cloud or telecom sectors.
• Five (5) years of direct engagement with strategic partners or customers focusing on technical planning and issue resolution.
• Five (5) years of experience leading teams in OpenStack and Kubernetes.
• Four (4) years of experience in seeking technical understanding and strategic buy-in from senior engineering and/or business leaders.
• Three (3) years of experience in designing and deploying virtualized network functions (VNFs), and working with OpenStack, Kubernetes, VMware, and major cloud providers, along with leading discussions with technology partners regarding roadmap alignment and engineering-to-engineering collaboration.
