This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Lead the technical strategy and implementation for Optro’s Controls Management projects.
• Mentor, motivate, and develop a diverse engineering team, demonstrating high levels of empathy and emotional intelligence.
• Oversee and enhance team dynamics through recruitment, retention, guidance, and ongoing development of individual and team best practices.
• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with Product, QA, Delivery, Design, Customer Support, GTM, and other stakeholders to provide top-tier experiences for our users.
• Manage the complete build and deployment of Controls Management features within Optro’s platform.
• Persistently enhance all facets of the product lifecycle, including both technical systems and processes, to achieve remarkable outcomes for our clients.
• Collaborate across functions with other engineering teams and product lines.
• Work closely with Product Management to establish goals, objectives, and the roadmap for Controls Management projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Continuously refine agile best practices to promote clarity, transparency, and effective delivery throughout your team and the organization.
• Proven experience in performance management.
• Background in leading agile teams and overseeing delivery processes.
• 5+ years of experience in developing modern technology stacks (Bonus).
• 2+ years of experience managing a development team, particularly in a SaaS setting (Bonus).
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks: Preference for Ember, but knowledge of Vue, React, Angular, etc., is beneficial for front-end collaboration (Bonus).
• Experience in a highly regulated environment focused on Audit, Risk, and Compliance (Preferred).
• Experience managing remote or distributed teams (Preferred).
• Familiarity with agile development environments and modern project management tools (Preferred).
• Strong B2B experience (Preferred).
