This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Direct the technical vision and implementation of Optro’s Controls Management projects.

• Guide, motivate, and develop a diverse group of engineers with a strong emphasis on empathy and emotional intelligence.

• Oversee and enhance the team through recruiting, retaining, mentoring, and consistently advancing both individual and team expertise in best practices.

• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with Product, QA, Delivery, Design, Customer Support, GTM, and other stakeholders to provide exceptional experiences for our users.

• Take ownership of the complete build and delivery process of Controls Management features within Optro’s platform.

• Continuously enhance all facets of the product lifecycle, including technical systems and processes, to achieve remarkable outcomes for our customers.

• Collaborate across functions with other engineering teams and product lines.

• Work closely with Product Management to set goals, objectives, and the roadmap for Controls Management projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities.

• Iterate and refine agile best practices to guarantee clarity, transparency, and effective delivery within your team and the broader organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing modern technology stacks.

• A minimum of 2 years managing a development team, particularly in a SaaS environment.

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks: experience with Ember is preferred, but knowledge of Vue, React, Angular, etc., is also beneficial for front-end collaboration.

• Proven experience in performance management.

• Background in running agile teams and overseeing delivery processes.

• Experience in a highly regulated environment, particularly in ARC (Audit, Risk, and Compliance).

• Managed remote or distributed teams effectively.

• Experience in an agile development setting and familiarity with modern project management tools.

• Strong background in B2B environments.
