This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

• Our Telecom Engineers concentrate on intricate engineering designs, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and construction packages for telecommunications solutions, providing support throughout the construction phase.
• Key responsibilities involve assessing implementation feasibility, documenting site specifics, producing a comprehensive design package that adheres to client standards for construction, and collaborating within a team setting.
• Conduct research and develop engineering designs for complex telecommunications solutions, ideally within the Power/Utility sector.
• Generate designs and complete construction packages for resilient telecommunications solutions utilizing Fiber, Microwave, SONET MUX, MHz, Radio, FAN, P-LTE, Circuit Paths, Power, Switches, Routers, TCP/IP, and associated devices.
• Formulate and document thorough project plans for programs that engage cross-functional teams and demanding requirements.
• Produce and revise Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), interconnect diagrams, WAN, LAN, tower blueprints, and more.
• Balance multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines.
• Collaborate effectively with substation engineers, specialists, management, and systems administration teams.
• Utilize Adobe Pro, Excel, Visio, and the MS Office suite to create comprehensive documentation and designs.
• Familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD is advantageous.
• Experience in conducting pathloss studies and calculations is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related discipline.
• A PE License (CA or NV) is highly regarded.
• Over 10 years of experience in telecommunications.
• Experience in Substation or Distribution is beneficial.
• More than 10 years of experience in researching and creating engineering designs for complex telecommunications solutions.
• Ability to manage tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in designing and producing full construction packages for robust telecommunications solutions using Fiber, Microwave, SONET MUX, MHz, Radio, FAN, P-LTE, Circuit Paths, Power, Switches, Routers, and associated devices.
• Knowledge of Battery Storage is a plus.
• Demonstrated success and ability to deliver results.
• Strong methodology, process, and metrics orientation in managing functions and projects.
• Experience in developing and documenting detailed project plans for programs involving cross-functional teams and challenging requirements.
• Skilled in creating and marking up SLDs, interconnect diagrams, WAN, LAN, tower drawings, and more.
• Capability to multitask and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills that foster team development.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Solid experience working collaboratively with facilities, substation, engineering, management, and systems administration teams.
• Proficient in using Adobe Pro, Excel, Visio, and the MS Office suite.
• Exposure to Bentley MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is a plus.
