This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct technical analyses independently and assess sustainable environmental engineering solutions.
• Prepare, review, and finalize comprehensive technical reports, calculations, and design documentation.
• Design infrastructure and systems for environmental protection that align with regulatory and project specifications.
• Create facility, watershed, or resource management plans with clearly defined scopes and objectives.
• Analyze intricate data sets to ensure the technical accuracy and regulatory compliance of deliverables.
• Offer technical support for permitting, regulatory approvals, and coordination with vendors and stakeholders.
• Facilitate project execution by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Exhibit flexibility to adapt and execute a variety of additional assignments based on changing needs.
• May provide mentorship, guidance, and knowledge-sharing to assist less experienced team members in skill development and career growth.
• Generally, a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in the preparation of plans and permit applications for environmental projects.
• Previous experience in mentoring and developing less experienced colleagues.
• Typically certified in the SMS Framework and progressing through the SMS competencies.
• 6 to 10 years of increasing responsibility in related thickening/dewatering experience preferred.
• Proven experience in the planning, design, and construction of thickening and/or dewatering projects.
• Experience as a task design lead.
• Competence in designing thickening and dewatering projects and preparing construction documents, including drawings, P&IDs, specifications, control narratives, and technical memoranda.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver effective presentations and prepare written reports and documents.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on research and technical issues.
• Strong project or task management capabilities.
• Successful experience in marketing, proposal writing, proposal management, and public presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Outlook, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
