Senior Engineer – Systems Design & Implementation

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of body cameras, in-car video systems, digital evidence management systems, and real-time command center software.

• Act as the technical solution owner for the project.

• Prepare system as-built documentation.

• Determine interface requirements and collaborate with the system implementation team for design.

• Facilitate customer-facing technical requirements discovery sessions for system configuration, whether via conference call or in-person.

• Foster relationships with sales, project managers, internal engineering teams, product teams, and key technical subject matter experts within the organization.

• Capable of providing customer product training both in-person and virtually.

• Survey, design, install, and maintain the infrastructure that supports wireless communications systems at the client site.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in implementing Public Safety software application systems.

• Experience in computer hardware sizing, configuration, and implementation.

• Proficiency in TCP/IP computer networking and design, both wired and wireless.

• Ability to successfully pass a background check and/or obtain security clearance for a customer as required.

• Background in LTE Network Modems/Routers.

• Experience in technical writing and the capacity to convey technical information to a non-technical audience.

• Basic understanding of Radio Voice Communications Networks.

• Fundamental knowledge of Motorola Solutions Public Safety Applications.

• Familiarity with Public Safety operations.
