Senior Engineer, SAP Project Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Offer subject matter expertise within the Largescale SAP Projects team at Cardinal Health’s SAP Center of Excellence.

• Oversee SAP Project deliverables including Functional Specifications, Configurations, Data conversions, Cutover planning, execution, and Hypercare.

• Responsible for the functional design, configuration, and validation of SAP solutions that support SAP OTC/PTP/SCE Business Processes.

• Analyze and document current processes and systems, identify gaps, and define future processes and systems.

• Facilitate blueprint workshops and conduct sessions with business stakeholders to gather requirements and perform Fit Gap Analysis.

• Accountable for architecting, designing, building, and deploying SAP business applications in the OTC, RTR, PTP, and RNI process areas.

• Provide evaluations of solution options, considering the business and technology impacts, along with delivery estimates.

• Ensure compliance and promote the use of Solution Manager, Charm Management, JIRA, and other standard tools.

• Identify discrepancies between requirements and existing solutions, and develop options and estimates to bridge those gaps.

• Communicate effectively with IT partners and business stakeholders.

• Collaborate with both onsite and offshore teams to manage Software Delivery execution.

• Offer functional expertise, guidance, presentations, and training to stakeholders.

• Maintain an enterprise-wide perspective to help others grasp the broader implications of their decisions.

• Exhibit strong oral and written communication, presentation, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to deliver effective solutions.

• Conduct system support, analysis, and design for SAP and related IT solutions to facilitate Procure to Pay Processes, utilizing modules such as LE, SD, & FI, along with the associated business processes and project implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with multiple full life cycle SAP implementation Projects is preferred.

• Advanced knowledge of SAP S4 functionalities, with deep expertise in two or more of the following modules: SAP SD, LE & MM, FI, and Pricing is preferred.

• Capability to transform technical/functional specifications into test scenarios and scripts is preferred.

• Proficiency in configuration, debugging, and enhancement design for solutions is preferred.

• Familiarity with SAP best practices, business processes, operational procedures, and the relationships between SAP SD-MM, MM-LE, MM-FI, and SAP-Non-SAP systems is preferred.

• S4 HANA certification is preferred.

• Strong integration skills with SAP modules SD, MM, FI, and external ERP systems such as Vertex, EDI, etc., are preferred.

• Understanding of SDLC processes like Agile and Waterfall is preferred.
