Senior Engineer, Python, PHP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Create scalable products that excel in an AI-centric development landscape.

• Develop code using Python or PHP.

• Take ownership of systems, make critical technical choices, and spearhead feature development.

• Utilize AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude, Codex, etc.) alongside MCP tooling.

• Outline technical tasks during specification reviews to proactively evaluate feasibility, technical trade-offs, and project complexity.

• Work collaboratively with design and product team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Extensive knowledge in system architecture, design patterns, and high-level programming skills in either Python or PHP.

• Senior-level contributor with complete accountability for features and deliverables.

• Familiarity with AI tools (Cursor, Claude, Codex, etc.) and contemporary AI infrastructure or agentic concepts (MCP, etc.).

• Ability to juggle rapid MVP delivery with maintaining clean, organized, and reusable code standards.

• Self-driven, independent problem solver.

• Experience with AI observability and orchestration tools (e.g., LangSmith, LogFire, Arize, OpenLIT) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks (e.g., PydanticAI, CrewAI, SmolAgents) is a bonus.

• Proven history of building, monitoring, or deploying AI agents in production settings is a plus.
