Senior Engineer – Platform/DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance Kubernetes architectures within multi-cluster environments.

• Develop and refine platform foundations that encompass networking, storage, scalability, and resilience.

• Oversee and standardize deployments utilizing Helm Charts, Kustomize, and GitOps methodologies.

• Provision and sustain infrastructure using Terraform.

• Propel performance optimization and security fortification across clusters and workloads.

• Provide support for cloud-native environments on GCP with a solid architectural perspective.

• Assist in defining and enhancing networking and security architecture for distributed systems.

• Engage with AI beyond mere chat assistant functions, leveraging it as a practical tool for analysis, operations, and problem-solving.

• Develop and sustain operational and development scripts to bolster efficiency and reliability.

• Analyze and interpret code when necessary to troubleshoot issues, evaluate risks, and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.

• Clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering trust and strong collaboration across teams.

• Proficient knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.

• Comprehensive understanding of security, networking, and distributed systems.

• Experience with Terraform, GitOps, and automation of infrastructure.

• Familiarity with Helm Charts and Kustomize.

• Practical implementation of AI as a functional work tool, extending beyond basic chat interactions.

• Capability to read and interpret code for troubleshooting and making informed technical decisions.
