
Senior Engineer I – Industrial Controls

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Designs, develops, monitors, maintains, and enhances industrial automation systems and graphical user interfaces.
• Engages in project development and cost estimation for a variety of digital service offerings.
• Assists with and oversees projects focused on industrial automation or digital services by leading progress meetings, managing subcontractors, ordering materials, and overseeing budgets.
• Addresses and resolves customer support inquiries promptly.
• Develops and manages project implementation timelines to ensure timely project delivery.
• Engages with customers to provide a quality product that meets their needs.
• Coordinates with internal project managers (i.e., other Veregy departments) to ensure project expectations and execution standards are fulfilled.
• Produces both internal and external technical documentation.
• Assigns and oversees project engineering duties.
• Conducts QA/QC processes for project software and documentation outputs.
• Manages project finances and reports on progress.
• Prepares close-out or system documentation for the customer.
• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.
• Over eight years of relevant experience and/or training; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in low to medium voltage electrical systems, control systems, and instrumentation research and specifications.
• Capability to create and validate various specifications and designs for industrial network topologies.
• Ability to integrate data from multiple industrial control systems and communication protocols into a standardized, consistent format.
• Knowledge and experience in project leadership or management.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and diplomatic communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with other engineers or clients to systematically address complex problems.
• Capacity to innovate new processes and standards.
• Capability to serve as a technical resource and mentor.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
