This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design and enhance algorithms for pose estimation, SLAM, Visual-Inertial Odometry (VIO), and 3D reconstruction.
β’ Develop and fine-tune navigation filters, including EKF and other traditional state estimation techniques.
β’ Manage sensor fusion pipelines that integrate IMU and camera data in lidar-free configurations.
β’ Create and uphold multi-view geometry and camera calibration systems.
β’ Propel real-time perception solutions for applications in autonomy and robotics.
β’ Evaluate algorithm performance and identify failure modes, translating insights into tangible improvements.
β’ Support the growth and mentorship of a team of engineers with similar qualifications.
β’ 3β6+ years of practical experience in computer vision or robotics perception, with a strong focus on:
β’ Pose estimation, SLAM, Visual-Inertial Odometry (VIO), and 3D reconstruction.
β’ Nonlinear optimization techniques (e.g., bundle adjustment, factor graphs).
β’ Classical state estimation methodologies and Kalman filters (EKF).
β’ Sensor fusion that integrates IMU and cameras in lidar-free settings.
β’ Multi-view geometry and camera calibration expertise.
β’ Real-time perception systems tailored for autonomous vehicles or robotics.
