This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Preparation of HOAI service phases 1 to 7 related to building automation.
• Management of international projects.
• Providing advice to clients on all facets of building automation, specifically by identifying and documenting their requirements.
• Development of concepts for building automation.
• Creation of preliminary cost estimates.
• Review and evaluation of existing planning documents for service phases 1 to 8.
• Formulation of optimization proposals.
• Close collaboration with colleagues from various disciplines, particularly the Digital Building Consultants.
• Assistance during the commissioning and acceptance of building automation installations.
• Conducting surveys and assessments of existing installations and new construction projects.
• A degree in building automation, electrical engineering, computer science, building services engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in planning and implementing building automation systems.
• Familiarity with TRIC, Autodesk Revit, and ORCA AVA.
• Extensive experience with building automation communication protocols, such as BACnet, Modbus, KNX, M-Bus, DALI, SMI, and vendor-specific bus systems.
• Desirable: Additional knowledge and experience in new digital building technologies and information and communication technology (ICT).
• Proficient in German and/or English.
• Strong communication abilities, effective time management skills, and a collaborative mindset.
